History: Natural F1 hybrid that was discovered in a nursery in Homestead, Florida, USA.
Production: Purchased in 2019. Said to be from a batch of seeds that were collected from a Dypsis pembana (mother plant) in cultivation that received pollen from a nearby Dypsis madagascariensis, giving this hybrid a plumose leaf.
Benefits: Unknown.
Identification: Looks like a Dypsis ‘Mahajanga’ which is clustering, but with Pemba characteristics in the stems.
