Description:
Pemba Palm (Dypsis pembana) x Triangle Palm (Dypsis decaryi)
x Teddybear Palm (Dypsis leptocheilos)
A NEW RELEASE! The White Tiger palm is the world’s first TRIPLE-CROSS done with Dypsis/Chrysalidocarpus. It was created by back-crossing the TriBana Palm (Dypsis pembana x decaryi) with the Teddy Bear Palm (Dypsis leptocheilos). While no mature specimens exist for us to show you, we believe this is going to be a stunning hybrid, combining the bluish trunk of the Pemba Palm with the tristichous leaf arrangement and hardiness of the Triangle Palm and the beautiful red fuzzy crownshaft of the Teddy Bear Palm. These have never been offered for sale before and we may never produce them again due to the low production numbers and difficulty of cross-pollination.
Sun Requirements: Can be acclimated to full Sun to shade
Growth Rate: Likely moderate to fast. Will definitely be fast once a few feet tall or more.
Fertilizer: Low
Water: Moderate
Cold Tolerance: Unknown. Likely similar to a TriBana Palm which is USDA Zone 9b.

Beautiful…must have for palm collectors. Wish I could get more.
